Infovest is a private South African based company servicing the data integration and warehousing needs of the investment management industry. We develop and license data management software and we provide consulting services to implement our products, thus providing a comprehensive data management solution to our clients.
We are one of South Africa’s leading Investment Data Management (IDM) software providers. We have a team of dedicated data warehousing experts that specialises in managing data and reconfiguring data intensive processes for our clients. Our unique implementation approach ensures that our products are implemented successfully, efficiently and effectively.
What differentiates us from our competitors is that we specialise in data warehouse solutions and we have a team of highly experienced individuals who have been operating within the data and financial markets space for many years. Not only do we have knowledge and insights into the challenges faced by many clients to integrate their data and to streamline their high level system’s architecture, but we also have experience with the systems that many investment companies use (whether insourced or outsourced).
We are living in an information age, and we believe that an integrated, seamless central data repository empowers our clients by giving them easy access to information across all aspects of their business. We work with our clients to understand their data management needs and with our comprehensive product offering we facilitate the exposure of their data from their underlying systems and external data providers.

We are a group of individuals who are experts in data warehousing and we have collectively been working within the data-warehousing, IT and Investment industry for many years. We have a common passion for building excellent data warehousing products and tools, and implementing these seamlessly to provide our clients easy access to their data, and to improve their efficiency with regards to the management of their data. We pride ourselves on delivering the best possible solutions and of building long-lasting relationships with our clients. We have achieved a 100% success rate across all implementations and projects that we have embarked on.
Our technical team focuses on building exceptional data warehousing products and tools, and they continually research the latest developments, principles and trends within data warehousing technology.
Our consulting and client services team focuses on understanding the business needs of our clients, and with the team’s business analysis, project management, systems knowledge and implementation skills they will facilitate and deliver the best solutions possible. The team also provides extensive support and training as required.

History
Infovest was established in 2006 by Lionel Waker and Tarquin Vaughan-Scott. They saw a gap in the South African market for a sound and practical data management system that catered for the Investment Industry. At that time, data warehousing solutions were either extremely costly to implement, difficult to implement or not catering specifically to the investment industry’s data requirements. Infovest was formed, and with Brait as a development partner Tarquin and Lionel developed and implemented version 1.0 of Infostore.
Infovest was able to provide the South African market with a product that was cost effective compared to its competitors, and that was straightforward to implement, while providing the clients with a solid data management solution.
Riaan Kirchner joined Infovest in 2007 and a solid partnership between Lionel, Tarquin and Riaan was formed. The initial implementation at Brait in 2006 was followed by a successful implementation of Infostore at Riscura in 2007. Lionel, Tarquin and Riaan were well on their way to establishing Infovest as a leading software vendor and service provider for data management solutions within the investment industry.
